How are clients billed?
Clients receive one monthly invoice that consists of charges across all advertisers within their account for the previous month’s activity.
What activities start the billing process?
In most cases, feature activations trigger a setup and monthly charge applied to that month’s bill. Meaning when I enable the Display Feeds Feature, I am creating 2 charges. The first for a set-up fee, the second is the monthly subscription fee.
Script Installations – You will not get charged twice for script request updates within 30 days of the initial request. Script updates outside the 30-day window will trigger a fee.
Dynamic Video – Does not automatically trigger a monthly charge event (this is the only feature that behaves this way). There are two conditions that must be met to start a charge event with the Video feature.
You must have an active ad version
The ad version must be active meaning no future date set to start
Video is the only feature that allows a user to set a future “start date”

Display – Date of Activation – Set-up fee/Monthly subscription fee
Search – Date of Activation – Set-up fee/Monthly subscription fee
Ad Customizer – Date of Activation - Set-up fee only
Script Install Request – Date of Request – Set-up fee only, no additional fee if an update request is triggered within the first 30 days. New Requests outside of that window will result in additional charges.
Video – Template Set-up fee
Video – Active Ad Version - Monthly video subscription fee
How do I stop billing for a feature/service?
Display – Deactivate Feature or Set Feature End Dates
Search – Deactivate Feature or Set Feature End Dates
Ad Customizer – You are only charged a set-up fee, no recurring fees
Script Install Request – You are only charged a set-up fee, no recurring fees
Video Template – You are only charged a set-up fee, no recurring fees. Additional fees apply if the template is changed.
Video Ad Version – Deactivate Ad Version/Set End Date
Deactivate the advertiser – This disables all features
Are there grace periods on fees?
Monthly Subscription fees – Yes, all features have a 3-day grace period during any given month on subscription fees. Meaning that if that feature is not on more than three days in that month, I am not charged for the subscription fee. This is mostly used at the end or beginning of a month to on/off board advertisers.
Set-up fees – There is no way to delay/post pone set-up charges
For reference if an advertiser had previously been charged a new set-up fee, re-activation will not trigger a new set-up fee.
Script Installs – No grace period but if there was an original script request within 30 days of any new request a second set-up fee will not be charged.
Do you prorate feed subscription fees or prices?
No, we do not prorate subscription prices.
Can I set up an advertiser ahead of time, but avoid billing until they are ready to go live?
Yes, you can set up an advertiser early and not be charged the monthly fee (See pricing breakdown below). However, all set-up fees are billed within the month of activation.
Display – Activate feature and the deactivate within 3 days, Activate feature within 3 days of the last day of the month.
Search – Activate feature and the deactivate within 3 days, Activate feature within 3 days of the last day of the month.
Ad Customizer – Date of Activation as this is a set-up fee only
Script Install Request – Date of Request as this is a set-up fee only, no additional fee if update additional request is triggered with the first 30 days. New Requests outside that window will be charged again.

How does the video monthly pricing work?
Pricing works as follows:
$250: A one time set up fee when a template is requested initially (hitting the "submit" button for a template)
$200/mo: As long as there is an active ad version for the advertiser within the invoiced month. This fee covers up to 10 ad versions. additional, active ad versions beyond 10 will incur an additional monthly fee.
$0.50 cent CPM: When using a VAST tag as distribution, this CPM will be charged for ad serving.
