We’ve rolled out a few updates to HootVid that give you more clarity, flexibility, and account-level control. Here’s what’s new:

Variant Button Tooltips

Hovering over a Variant button will now display a tooltip when one has been added.

• These tooltips are custom and managed by the Hoot product team to give users actionable insights into platform functionality and optimization.

  • Mainly intended to explain how a variant affects the video output

• Example:
  Green Screen → “Smartphone will cover the right side of video asset.”

Custom Line Breaks in Source Sheets

You can now manually control line breaks in Source Sheets.

• Press Enter to create a new line

• Custom line breaks override the built-in text wrapping logic

• This allows for more precise text layout and formatting in videos
