HootVID accepts multiple image file types. However, PNGs are strongly recommended. JPEG/JPG is also an accepted format.

Image file sizes depend entirely on the template design that you are using. However, each upload option will have an optimal file size recommendation.

Don’t worry! Even if your image varies in size from the recommended dimensions, our editor will either size it up or down to have it fill the alloted space.

  • Format: .mp3 or .wav

  • Audio sample rate: 48k

  • Length: 15 or 30 seconds

  1. Select Contact Support under the Support tab in the main menu.

  2. Fill in the form as shown. Submitting will open a support ticket where one of our support team members will assist with asset conversion.

Companion GreenScreen

  • Same Video/Audio Specs as normal companion Ad

  • Best practice for positioning Talent: 

    • Keep talent within left 50% of the frame

    • Knee-up or waist-up framing of talent

    • Talent will gesture to the left/right (depending on the template) with any direct reference to inventory

    • Ensure that the talent’s gestures/body (other than legs/feed) are not moving out of frame.
