The HootVID platform requires specific file types for template media elements. Additionally, a recommended file size will appear for each respective media element for your ad.

Images
HootVID accepts multiple image file types. However, PNGs are strongly recommended. JPEG/JPG is also an accepted format.
Image file sizes depend entirely on the template design that you are using. However, each upload option will have an optimal file size recommendation.
Don’t worry! Even if your image varies in size from the recommended dimensions, our editor will either size it up or down to have it fill the alloted space.
Voiceovers
Format: .mp3 or .wav
Audio sample rate: 48k
Length: 15 or 30 seconds
Videos
HootVID requires MP4 files for video upload.
Recommended video format: H.264
Recommended file size: < 150mb
Recommended video resolution: 1920×1080
Recommended bit rate: > 5mbps (keep this higher if you prefer)
Recommended video frame rate: 29.97
Recommended length: 15 or 30 seconds
Recommended audio sample rate: 48k

Best practice for positioning Talent:
Keep talent within left 50% of the frame
Knee-up or waist-up framing of talent
Talent will gesture to the left/right (depending on the template) with any direct reference to inventory
Ensure that the talent’s gestures/body (other than legs/feed) are not moving out of frame.
