Activating Dynamic Video

Activating Hoot Interactive’s Dynamic Video feature for an advertiser is a simple process that should take no longer than a few minutes.
If you are turning on Dynamic Video for a new advertiser:
Click the “+ Advertiser” button at the top right of your advertiser dashboard.
Complete step one and fill out the basic information for the advertiser and click “next”. You will now be in the “features” tab. Turn on the switch labeled “Feed Driven Features.” You will see several switches appear below this. Now, turn on the switch labeled “Dynamic Video Ads.” Setting a deactivation date for this feature can be accomplished by clicking the calendar icon adjacent to the switch (note: a feature end date is not required). Now click “Next,” once again.
You will arrive at an optional “Special Requests,” tab. Add any special requests in this section, or leave it blank. Then, hit the “create” button.
If you are turning on Dynamic Video for an existing advertiser:
On the advertiser dashboard, locate the advertiser for which you want to activate dynamic video and click on the gear icon.
Navigate to the “features” tab. Make sure that the switch labeled “Feed Driven Features,” is turned on. You will see several switches below this. Now, turn on the switch labeled “Dynamic Video Ads.” Setting a deactivation date for this feature can be accomplished by clicking the calendar icon adjacent to the switch (note: a feature end date is not required). Now click “Save Changes.”
The Dynamic Video feature will now be available for the advertiser. You will notice that the video ads icon now appears blue. Clicking this icon will allow you to navigate to the video ads tab for this advertiser.
Additional note: Activating Dynamic Video for an advertiser will not create a video template. This must be done within the video ads tab.
