Sprint Overview
With this release, we focused on the first of a few upcoming Responsive Search Ad features, ad customizer support. We also have updated support for our new consolidated Google feeds to accommodate additional advertising restrictions around hub or group sites.
Ad customizer support for responsive search ads
In preparation for the mass migration within AdWords from expanded text ads(ETAs) to responsive search ads(RSAs), we have introduced support for utilizing ad customizers within RSAs. This process is notably different from the current AdWords workflow for ETAs, and as such required a supplementary solution.
We do still support ad customizers within expanded text ads, but you will need to setup both individually within AdWords to have full access.

Google Feed Support for Hub/Group Sites
Google has outlined additional advertising restrictions around hub or group sites. In these scenarios, the advertiser has a group/hub site with consolidated inventory for multiple locations. Because Google charges advertisers for each Merchant Center Account, they are recommending that advertisers use a single merchant center for these hub sites. There is also a restriction of one Merchant Center Account per Website URL.
With this update, it is now possible to take one of these hub sites, filter inventory by location and use multiple Merchant Center accounts. When creating your individual Google My Business custom feeds, you now have the option to add store code per feed.
You also have the choice to select which GMB feeds will be included in the master consolidated feed by unchecking “include all feeds under this agency“ and selecting from the drop down list.
