Deployment Overview
Today’s deployment introduces a new feed type, additional search flexibility, and the ability to leverage inventory levels for prioritization within the system features. We’ve also introduced new features to help you customize video ad versions by allowing you to provide direct input of design elements. With some minor bug fixes and tasks, this sprint was a little longer than our normal sprint. A Corresponding video can be viewed here.
Release Details
Dynamic Video: Capturing Design Features
We’d like to help the user be part of their template design process. These are just the first steps in providing greater functionality and user input options as we enhance our video products.
User inputs include options for the following:
Number of Products:
The number of products per ad the user wishes to set for the template. This will vary depending on the length of video and content complexity, but the average 30-second spot is 6 products. We Recommend the following:
Digital Asset
15s: 2 Products
30s: 3 Products
Companion
15s: 3 Products
30s: 6 Products
Font Style:
We have provided the most frequently applied font styles. However, you are not restricted to use these. Simply make note of the font style you wish to use in the Special Request Section or you can pass the Font Files to us through the support system.
Font Color:
Use our color picker or enter the Hex Number you wish to utilize and you are all set. The view below is what you will see when using a Chrome Browser. Safari and Firefox will have a slightly different view.
**If using Firefox you can not currently edit the Hex# directly but in our next release, we will update this capability.
Accent Color Choices:
There are three main areas where color pallets are utilized and you can now have the freedom to provide a recommendation or Brand Required Color Selections.
Accent Color #1 – Is the primary or focal point of product details usually focused on the center of the picture justified left or right
Accent Color #2 – Is the secondary color usually located in the bottom 50% of the video play area or also the “Footer”. Also used for highlighting the Call to action buttons.
Accent Color #3 – Is the secondary color usually located in the top 50% of the video play area or also the “Header” and sometimes “Title Area” depending on design formats.

Dynamic Video: Enhanced Filter and Sort Controls
When creating or editing ad versions you will see an update to how the feed and sorting features are applied. These are enhancements to help maintain consistency across products for similar actions.
Now when using the Custom Sort option the Filters will follow the same pattern as the new custom feed filters and have been moved to the bottom of the page. We’ve also enhanced the sorting options for easy drag and drop functionality.

Custom Feeds: “Now Available”
We now have a new feed type that allows users to promote products new to the inventory feed. The new feed type is called “Now Available” and allows a user with a few simple inputs, to define a look back period and identify inventory that has just arrived. For example, you can include only vehicles that are new within the last 7 days. Because this is a feed type you can also still apply the traditional filter attributes within the filter settings.
Creating a new feed is easy!
Navigate the custom feed section
Create a new feed
Select the new feed type “Now Available”
Select the advertiser
Define the lookback window
Add any necessary filters and create your feed.
And you are off, utilize this feed just like any other feed within your account!
Dynamic Search: Alternate Ad Copy
We’ve increased the alternate text fields available within the search templates to allow for move coverage on over character length alternatives.

Volume Based Priorities: Dynamic Search, Video and Custom Feeds
With the next feature, we’ve given users the ability to filter feeds, search templates, and order videos by volume of products. After account configurations, you will see the following attributes:
Automotive Attributes
Make Count
Model Count
Year Count
Type Count (Body Style)
Non-Automotive
Brand Count
Custom_label_0-4 Count
Filtering Feeds is done using the filter modals.
Create your feed and simply open the Filter Group Model and select the appropriate attribute. Compounding filter attributes can be tricky so we recommend reviewing the results of the feed before implementation.
Filtering Auto Template Search Campaigns
This feature can only be used with the internal feed source for Auto templates. When creating an auto template you can add the count filter inside the filter modal
When creating Video Ad Versions you can prioritize products shown by ordering values by count.
