Google Vehicle Ads | Google VLA
This is the feed format needed to connect your inventory through the Vehicle Ads program through Google’s Merchant center.
doors | Number of Doors on vehicle |
vehicle type | Range of vehicle body types the vehicle could be (ex. Car_ Truck) |
image_link | Link provided and taken from the VDP/ PDP that represents vehicle/product |
color | Color of the out side of the Vehicle |
image type | Primary image classification, values included are: DEALER, STOCK, or PLACEHOLDER |
drive train | This identifies the drivetrain of the vehicle the are classified as RWD, AWD, FWD and 4WD |
VIN | Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) |
transmission | Vehicle transmission classification (Manual/ Automatic) |
title | Condition of the Product, Year, Make, Model and trim |
link | Link to VDP (vehicle detail page) or To PDP (Product Description Page) and is where the client will go when they click on the ad |
link_template | Link to VDP (vehicle detail page) or To PDP (Product Description Page) and is where the client will go when they click on the ad + |
price | The indexed selling price of the product/vehicle. If multiple prices are available the lowest price is assigned. |
vehicle_msrp | The manufacturer’s suggested retail price, by default this value is not captured but can be configured at the request of the client. |
description | Condition of the Product, Year, Make, Model |
trim | Versions of the vehicle model (ex. Sports Package) |
year | Year of manufacture (ex. 2020) |
engine | Type of fuel the vehicle uses (ex. GASOLINE) |
condition | Condition of the vehicle. Classifications include: new or used |
model | Product Model Identifier |
mileage | The number listed from the vehicle odometer this includes the unit of measure (ex. 28 miles) |
brand | Vehicle Manufacturer |
body_style | The style of the body of the vehicle (ex. Sedan) |
google_product_category | Google-defined product category for your product Must use Google's product taxonomy |
product_category | Product category that you define for your product |
id | Dealer Identification Number this is the advertiser id from the Hoot system |
store_code | Free text field, this can be entered at the advertiser setting or when creating the feed. A store code is a unique ID for each business. By Default this value is empty inside the Business account but must be used when utilizing the feed services. |
place_id | Google Place ID. This value can be entered at the advertiser settings. |
vehicle_fulfillment(option:store_code) | Shows if vehicle is able to be purchased in-store or online (In-store is set by default) |
additional_image_link | The URL of an additional image for your product (Up to 10) |
certified_pre-owned | Shows if vehicle is Certified Pre-own or not with TRUE or FALSE |
There are 5 additional feed attributes called custom labels. In this column we add custom information about the vehicle / Product by client request. These are identified as the following attributes:

Hoot can assign specific attributes to one of these columns to better help segment vehicle or product segments
